I haven't said anything about the entire Chris Brown/Rihanna thing up until now. Why? I have an opinion about everything, so why not? I guess I felt there wasn't enough evidence for me to make a proper evaluation yet.
Well, I have enough knowledge to make a full decision now.

I feel absolutely terrible that this happened to her. She doesn't deserve this. I absolutely adore her and just can't believe that this happened to her.
I officially have to delete my Chris Brown tracks from my iTunes. There's no way I'm going to be able to listen to his songs again. I've never deleted a song from iTunes. (with the exception of when I've had duplicated tracks.)
I can't wait to hear her side of the story. Poor lamb...

i was totally shocked when i saw the pic..i knew it might be bad but damn i didnt think it was that bad..he obviously has been abusing her through out the relationship..guys arent nice to a girl then beat her up over night...and ppl knew she was getting beat..i heard rumors that ppl she knows saw bruises before..why didnt ppl around try to get her help? shes not a pop oil machine..shes a human being..i hope she gets the counseling she needs..it sucks for this all to happen around her bday but its a good thing that it did..hopefully it opened her eyes so that she wont take that from anyone else..now chris brown..i agree he is a asshole..but does the asshole deserve to have his music still play over the radio?imo, yes..the reason why i say this is because if you ban him then you need to ban ppl like r kelly and other that do things that are against the law..its only fair and how about banning some of these athletes from games and actors from doing movies that hit their woman..u see if one gets ban they have to ban others so where does it end?who get banned and who doesnt?at this point no radio station is really playing him anyway and it will be like that for awhile i think ppl just need to decide on their own if they want to listen to him again..i dont want to for now but im not going to say never cause i would be lying to myself.. im just sadden he would do something like that but when i think about it..it doesnt surprise me sometimes man that grow up watching abuse end up abusing woman themselves...thats why his mom should have got him and his sister counseling.im not trying to make excuses for him he definately needs to do his time but hes young and needs help too so that when he gets out of jail..he doesnt do it to another woman because a lot of male celebs abuse woman that are not famous and end up getting away with it or you dont hardly hear anything about it because they are regular woman..so if chris doesnt get help that is exactly what he will do.. and i think ppl need to get mad when ANY WOMAN celeb or no celeb gets hit!

The reason I said he needs to be banned/deleted/etc... and the reason WHY radio stations (like the one here in town) are banning him is because the whole R Kelly thing? That wasn't as in our face as this is. This erupted. It wasn't an allegation or rumor and THEN we heard about it after the fact. We heard about it right after it happened and it was one hot star beating on another hot star... So people are completely shocked and taken aback by this.
If they don't ban him, whatever... his career will never be the same because people will know what a monster he is. I can't look at his face or listen to his songs... which sucks because I really like his music... but I love Rihanna more.
With the whole abusive relationship thing... I think how it happens is it's just one time... "I'll never do it again..." then she believes him. Fuck, I would probably believe him... but then after a while it just becomes routine and somewhere in the back of your mind I think you think, "this WILL be the last time..." I think for her, this was the last time. If she goes back to him after this... well Lord, then we all know why she's a singer, because the girl doesn't have any brains! LOL (joke, joke...)
I will be livid if there's no charges pressed, but I will not be surprised. I won't be surprised for a couple reasons:
1, they're famous. No shocker there.
2, I was once assaulted and the police did nothing. In hindsight, I should have sued the po-dunk down I was in. You should have heard me screaming over the 911 call... Meanwhile they did nothing.
And 3, since this is not his first time with assault - not just Rihanna here... like you said, he doesn't just wake up one day and try to kill his girlfriend... although if there ARE charges filed, I hope he gets attempted homocide -- no charges were ever filed on him before, so somehow he's gotten out of trouble before.
He's a fuckwipe. Maybe if he goes away - prison, an island... just away from me -- and then he comes back in 5 years and has a Barbara Walters special (if she's still alive) and he cries about it, apologizes properly, admits fault -- mayyyyyyyybe I'll TRY to forgive him. But I can never forget this...

yeah i won!!lol..i know the r.kelly thing wasnt in our face as much that but thats because teen he slept with and peed on (eww) was just a regular chick so no one cared as much which is my point ppl need to start caring when non celebs woman get abused..i dont think he will do that much time.. he needs to goes ahead and say in court that hes gulity and takes full responsibility....if he says he didnt..i just mkght hate him..its so weird i dont find myself hating him..dont get me wrong im disgusted at what he did but i guess growing up around abuse and having three brothers and knowing how my older brother is towards woman..i just feel sadness and pity(i know i sound corny)plus the fact hes young.i dont know if other ppl will never forget what has happened...we do tend to forget things over time..because theres always some new scandal in hollyweird.. but will see.
